ATV LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT

Rival Motorsports, Inc. A fully owned subsidiary of Tao Motors, Inc., warrants that new Rival Motorsports ATVs purchased from a duly authorized Rival Motorsports Dealer in the United States of America shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period listed herein, subject to certain exclusions also described herein.

 

WARRANTY PERIOD

All Rival ATVs shall have a warranty of a period of (3) months from the day the dealer received the unit with no mileage or hour limitations .The included battery will have a (30) day warranty from the day the dealer received the unit.

 

EXCLUDED CONDITIONS

Note that specific types of use or conditions can exclude warranty protections including but not limited to:

  1. Commercial use, Renting or similar without written consent from Rival Motorsports
  2. Racing or Competitive use
  3. Installation of parts or accessories that are not equal to genuine Rival Motorsports parts
  4. Excessive stresses, strain, abuse or neglect
  5. Accident or collision damage
  6. Modification to original parts
  7. Damage due to improper transportation

 

SPECIFIC EXCLUSIONS

Note that normal wear and tear and maintenance are not covered under this limited warranty. Example of wearable item would be tires and brake pads. Example of maintenance items would be engine oil, air filter, chain, and spark plug.

 

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

  1. To operate and maintain this Rival Motorsports product as specified in the Owner’s Manual
  2. To notify a duly authorized Rival Motorsports Dealer of all apparent defects within (10) days of discovery
  3. To make your Rival Motorsports unit available at that time for inspection and repairs at the Dealer’s place of business

 

EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM WARRANTY

Rival Motorsports, Inc. also warrants to the purchaser and to subsequent potential purchasers that the unit is designed and equipped to conform with United States emissions standard put forth at the time of sale. Rival further states the unit is free from defects in materials or workmanship which would cause the unit not to meet these standards within the period listed below. Failures due to abuse, lack of proper maintenance or any other above listed exclusion are not covered by this warranty.

 

THE EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM WARRANTY is listed as (30) months from the initial warranty registration or 5000 miles, whichever comes first.

RIVAL MOTORSPORTS, INC. MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURCHASE WHICH EXCEED THE OBLIGATIONS AND TIME LIMITS STATED IN THIS WARRANTY ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED BY RIVAL MOTORSPORTS, INC. AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.ALSO, EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY ARE ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING LOSS OF USE.SOME STATES DO NOT THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
